Group Recruitment Manager - Expat opportunity to relocate to the Middle East

The organisation is a high profile and reputable Family group with business units across B2B and B2C markets. With over 15,000 employees across Middle East, Asia and Africa, the company is in a strong position financially with continued growth and entry into new markets planned.

The Role

The Group Recruitment Manager is the overall process owner for Recruitment and On-boarding across diversified businesses.  The successful candidate will review current resourcing activity, providing ideas, support and development for local recruitment teams to optimize recruiting and on-boarding activity.

This role includes a element of transformation and change management. The successful candidate will need to have the drive and motivation to make changes within the overall Talent Management strategy, including communicating change at a senior level.

The role reports to the Director, Talent Management and will allow for autonomy and ownership.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a small team to deliver outstanding recruitment and on-boarding service to corporate stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with business and HR leaders, understand businesses strategic talent requirements, recruitment processes and ability to attract and hire talent.
  • Reduce recruitment cycle time with a specific focus on the time it takes to attract, select, hire and onboard talent into strategic positions across the company.
  • Drive consistency in recruiting and onboarding process and embed SuccessFactors use for all activity to ensure accurate and up-to-date management reporting.
  • Develop and embed SuccessFactors standardized recruitment and onboarding metrics consistent across all businesses. Review, analyze and share on a monthly basis with HR and business stakeholders.
  • Accountable for the relationship with LinkedIn, including use and distribution of Recruiter licenses and LinkedIn marketing budget. Increase professional use of LinkedIn through the company maximizing ROI from LinkedIn contract.
  • Maintain a centralized approach to strategic sourcing via agency partnerships, develop agency evaluation metrics to establish clear view of which agency suppliers provide the most value.
  • Coordinate campus hiring including strategic partnerships with local and overseas universities
  • Create clear compelling EVP supported by employer brand management

The Person

  • Substantial experience managing recruitment teams and processes with exposure to both volume and specialist recruitment.
  • An in-depth understanding of recruitment and selection tools and techniques
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Well-developed project management skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills, able to work with data to unlock people insight and drive improvement
  • Degree educated ideally in a business related subject

Kuwait offers a safe and exciting place to live for both singles and families. All visa costs will be covered by the organisation with some relocation support.
