We are currently recruiting for a Manager - Risk Analytics for one of the largest banking groups in the Middle East.

Please note - This is a relocation opportunity & is open to those with experience working in Europe, Singapore & Australia as well as the UAE.

The Role

Job Description

The Risk Analytics - Manager plays a key role in the Development of Credit Risk Models for  Wholesale Portfolios.

IFRS9 Understanding & Implementation is a major part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of Internal Credit Risk Models for Wholesale Portfolios
  • Develop internal scorecards using modeling techniques
  • Ensuring quality & accuracy of Models & Scorecards
  • Assist with the maintenance of internal rating models and systems
  • Understanding from other areas of the business what is needed from their Credit Risk tools

The main deliverables for the unit include 

  • Central Bank Reporting
  • Basel II Compliance
  • Risk Reviews
  • Scorecard development

The Person

Key Requirements

  • 5+ Years Banking experience
  • Must have experience working with SAS
  • Must have experience in Wholesale Model Development (PD, LGD, EAD)
  • Bachelor\'s degree required; MBA or other advanced degrees are desirable
