Group Head of Talent Management (UAE National)

The Role

The Group Head of Talent Management  will be responsible for leading and managing the Nationalisation initiatives, implementation of Talent Management and Learning and Development  strategy and policies. You will ensure the short, medium and long term plans of the group are fulfilled to accomplish the group’s  overall vision, strategy and objectives, on a local and global scale.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Nationalisation, Talent Management and Learning & Development Department team, to meet all the Department  objectives
  • Develop a robust infrastructure to support a high performance culture to attract, develop and retain high potential talent
  • Ensure all Human Resources Management processes like Recruitment, Reward Management, Performance Management, Learning and Development, etc. are implemented to keep employees in the Department fully motivated to meet the Group objectives
  • Lead the enhancement of knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Function to continuously develop employees with emphasis on Nationals to meet Nationalisation objectives
  • Lead the establishment of Personal Learning Plans (PLP’s), Succession Planning and Talent pipelines within the the group to support business continuity within the Nationalisation, Talent Management and Learning & Development Department
  • Lead and guide the development of the Department business plans and optimal annual budget, in line with the corporate objectives and work programs, while ensuring quality and reality checks and balances are in place
  • Foster an organisation culture that encourages innovation, enhances employee motivation and supports implementation of Change Management initiatives

The Person

The Ideal candidate:

  • Degree or professional qualification in HR, preferably with a Master’s Degree in HRD or MBA with specialisation in HR
  • A professional qualification in HR (CIPD (UK) or PHR (USA))
  • Subject matter expert in Talent Management and Learning and Development
  • A minimum of 10 years similar experience with at least 7 years in an  Nationalisation and Talent Management or Learning & Development role
