A market leading Service Provider within the airline industry.

The Role

The responsibility of the Head of Talent Management is to lead all Learning and Talent Management activities; including: learning and development (in close alignment with Head of Training Academy), leadership development, career planning and development, and performance management for all employees across functions and stations.

Duties will include:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategy.
  • Ensure alignment of Learning and Talent Management Department’s strategy and plans in shaping and implementing  HR strategy.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Learning and Talent Management Department’s plan, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Monitor performance of the Learning and Talent Management Department against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis. Recommend improvements and efficiencies in line with corporate priorities.
  • Develop and monitor the annual Learning and Talent Management Departments budget in alignment with the overall HR budget and with the Finance function.
  • Manage the implementation of the learning and talent development plan to ensure its compliance with leading practices including career planning, training and development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Supervise the design of talent management programs to retain and develop high potential employees and incumbents of critical positions.
  • Liaise with functional heads to ensure identification of potential key roles/jobs and high-potential candidates who will go through the high potential program.
  • Develop guidelines for in-house learning taking place at stations and ensure that these learning interventions are aligned to the Learning and Talent Management plans and initiatives

 

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field
  • MBA or Master\'s in a relevant field is a plus
  • A certification in Human Resources Management from an accredited institution (e.g. SHRM, CIPD)
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Must speak fluent Arabic and English
