HR Project Manager (UAE National)

Our client is a local, diverse, energy organisation with a global presence.

The Role

The HR Project Manager will develop, design and implement initiatives within the HR Strategy and Project Management Office (PMO), and consolidate the group’s HR strategy and related initiatives, in alignment with overall framework of the corporate and business strategies whilst adopting state of the art practices to identify the Group’s strategic needs and translate into the HR strategy and operational plans.

  • Design, develop and implement the HR Strategy & PMO initiatives, in collaboration with the leadership, ensuring alignment and seamless cascade of the operating model and business strategies via flexible organization structures.
  • Develop and implement sectional strategy and related strategic plans which are aligned with the vision and mission of the Group.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the assigned domain and provide support to leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of sectional strategies.
  • Manage the effective achievement of sectional objectives through effective management and by setting of individual objectives, measuring performance, developing and motivating team members to maximise
  • Ensure adherence to organizational values and ethics by team members of the assigned team to ensure the establishment of a value driven culture within the Group.
  • Implement the HR integration process while ensuring minimal disruption for the day to day HR operations, by prioritising activities which are critical to sustain business operations.
  • Efficiently implement the HR integration / transformation projects and manage work streams interdependencies to minimise effort duplication.
  • Manage the successful planning and delivery of all strategic HR projects in line with stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes and practices taking into account global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

The Person

The ideal candidate must have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent.
  • Professional certification such as CIPD is highly preferable.
  • 10 - 12 years’ relevant experience in HR Consulting or managing strategic initiatives and transformation with at least 5 – 6 years in similar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities in the Group HR management function.
  • Must be a UAE National, with family book
