The Company

I have a key position available with an award winning, successful digital marketing agency based in London. A Sunday Times Tech Track top 50 company, who have grown year-on-year and are proud to work with numerous multinational clients. The role is based at their offices in Dubai, UAE.

The Role

We are looking for a SEO Lead, who will be based in the Middle East, to join our expanding Search team. This role will oversee the strategy and management of an SEO campaign client account, and work alongside the digital team in the clients’ office. The role is suitable for a senior SEO who has significant client facing experience as well as advanced technical skills to help resolve complex technical SEO challenges collaboratively with developers and other digital stakeholders.


As the SEO Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Analyse international websites and provide recommendations for optimisation relating to search engine crawling capability, indexation, accessibility, mobile performance, on-page optimisation and backlink
  • Support the implementation of your recommendations
  • Being able to adapt and understand new web development technologies and how this affects SEO
  • Work with client stakeholders to understand infrastructure and frontend presentation layers (inc. JavaScript) on which search facing web platforms are built and how this impacts SEO
  • Understand business operations and the requirements and how best SEO integrates. Support the implementation of this
  • Collate and provide insights from data by working with analysts to ensure accurate and actionable reporting can be produced
  • Reporting and presenting results, actions and next steps to clients weekly and monthly, and in quarterly meetings
  • Work closely with the Head of SEO to develop strategies for the client
  • Setting relevant KPI’s and achievable SEO targets for the client
  • Provide on-going scoping of the project which should be revised on a quarterly basis
  • Aligning strategies with other digital marketing channels
  • Line manage and delegating work activities to an executive
  • Developing relationships with key client stakeholder
  • Time management – of individuals and self.
  • Day-to-day communication with clients.


The Person


Ideally, you’ll have the following skills:

  • Experience managing and executing SEO for an enterprise business
  • Significant client facing experience and ability to manage stakeholders
  • Involvement in developing client strategies
  • In-depth technical SEO knowledge
  • Working knowledge of a variety of CMS
  • Previous experience in providing technical audits and ongoing recommendations
  • Excellent CSS, JavaScript (especially Angular.js & React.js) and HTML skill
  • Worked across multiple clients in previous/existing role
  • Evidence of previous SEO success
  • Analytical skills (inc. Adobe and Google Analytics)
  • Experience working with a wide variety of SEO/Search tools.
  • Experience in managing people
