VP - Product Marketing & Propositions MEA

The Company

I have a key senior position available with a leading multinational payment solutions provider. The role is based at their offices in Dubai, UAE.

The Role

As VP Product Marketing & Propositions, you will be responsible for building and rolling out the product marketing strategy across MEA. You will acquire a deep understanding of our target customers through insights and analysis, using the information to help define and create strong value propositions that articulate our solutions according to the needs of our customers.


With a team of 2 AVP’s to help execute your strategy across MEA, you’ll consolidate key markets to drive efficiencies and consistency in execution in order to deliver improved brand affiliation & NPS.


You will lead & manage the agency relationships (media, creative & PR) to craft the messaging, creative and positioning for all products and customer campaigns, and own the end to end management of developing innovative marketing and sales programs that drive demand across all communication channels (paid and owned media). Attention to detail and an eye for quality and creative, along with the ability to grasp and translate highly technical product briefs into customer and insight led benefits is crucial.


You are required to lead your team and work cross functionally, with both product and on ground sales teams to understand and analyze customer demands and needs by geography and segment within MEA, and build impactful sales materials & product catalogues that help our sales teams win business. The ability to drive innovation and push the boundaries in developing new ways of selling our products is key.


You will also be obsessive about protecting our brand image, ensuring all communications (Internal and external) adhere to our brand guidelines, tone of voice, company strategy and ultimately drive brand loyalty with customers


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging strategy that differentiates our products in the market
  • Equip the sales teams by building innovative sales materials, communicating the value proposition of all our products, enabling them to have compelling conversations with customers.
  • Product launch- plan the launch of all new products and releases and manage the cross functional implementation of the plan across all teams including product, sales and marketing.
  • Market Intelligence- be the expert of our customers, understand how they buy, their buying criteria, be the expert of competition and how to win against them
  • Drive marketing programs & “always on” digital campaigns that create demand for your products.
  • Manage creative and media agencies to develop a full suite of marketing materials across all channels, including internal updates, online, PR, Internal and B2B/ B2C materials
  • Support respective teams on requests for sales pitches/ customer workshops and B2B comms in all key markets.
  • Have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and build teams remotely across MEA


Specific tasks will include:

  • Build new product marketing strategy to drive efficiencies and customer acquisition/ retention across MEA.
  • Build comprehensive and customer centric sales toolkits to be used by the sales and commercial teams
  • Roll out the new product architecture across allocated markets. Be an advocate for driving this internally within the local market offices.
  • Ensure all channels/ online consistently reflect any product updates.
  • Work with individual product managers to build comprehensive GTM plans for new products and enhancements/ lead generation campaigns for existing products
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on PR and social media messaging.
  • Be confident in writing strong, insight led marketing and media briefs to equip the agencies with quality content that will drive quality output
  • Be results focused, with the ability to manage your budget effectively

The Person


  • A minimum of a degree in a relevant subject- Business/ Marketing/ Communication
  • Professional development courses in relevant sales, marketing, technology and/ or product management areas is also highly desirable.



  • 10+ years’ experience in Marketing, preferably in the payments industry or similar aspects of financial services. With at least 3 years specifically managing product marketing communications.
  • Middle East and Africa experience highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of managing local and remote teams.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Strong cultural awareness and knowledge of the regional sensitivities


AED 50k per month plus family visa, medical insurance, flights & annual bonus
