The Company

One of our clients, a global real estate consultancy, is looking to hire a Head of Business Development for the Kingdom

The Role

To develop and deliver a business development strategy for sustainable and profitable growth, leading to the client's business being a market leading office in the client's network, as well as positioning them in KSA among the top three real estate consultants in the Kingdom.

  • Actively build relationships with key clients and assist team members to win new instructions where appropriate
  • Pro-actively encourage cross business/border cross-selling and referrals
  • Build the client's profile in the market by anticipating client requirements and expectations through a close working relationship with the Research team
  • Ensure there is a full business plan in place for the future development of the SLs with the focus on growth in business areas to include new ventures
  • Help with increasing net profit margin and fee income per fee earner and achieving financial goals
  • Enhance opportunities to engage teams to increase engagement scores
  • With the Head of Research, develop client engagement/business development plan and supporting MarComms strategies
  • Regular liaison with Service Line Heads to create relationships and become a contributor to the global network and a key player in the region
  • Attend cross service line meetings and drive internal referrals across the business with the necessary follow up meetings
  • With SL Heads, ensure that annual budgets are established and managed, monitoring the performance against targets at a business unit level and where necessary set remedial action
  • Help with setting up revenue targets for SLs and ensure that client and Business Development plans are in place to achieve them
  • Ensure there is a clear and effective Employer and Employee Brand in the market to ensure the client attracts the right talent
  • Be a leading voice in the industry as a part of Industry Group and positioning the client in an award winning high profile position

The Person

  • Demonstrable track record of winning new clients/business in the Kingdom
  • MRICS or on APC pathway preferable
  • Bachelor degree
  • Team player with good inter personal skills
  • You must have the drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace and be seeking an opportunity for fast track career progression
  • Be diligent and maintain neat and tidy file records at all times
