Our client is the leading manufacturer of packaging solutions, who goes beyond products and technology in understanding both customer’s and business needs.
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to look after the MEA region, who will be working closely with the Sales team, driving and forging business growth strategy, focusing on maintaining existing and building new business relationships across the region.
The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Identify new market opportunities for the business in the MEA region
- Responsible for driving the Sales strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and vision
- Develop, collaborate, and participate in sales planning and forecasting cycles that cover the entire MEA geographies
- Generate new business while establishing direct sales relationships with key channel partners across the MEA region
- Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting Sales and forging strong relationship with clients
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Visit prospects in existing and new MEA geographies with the objective to generate new leads, which are being documented in Salesforce
The Person
Experience:
- 5+ years of B2B Sales experience with proven track records/success
- Engineering Master’s/Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
- English (written and spoken) fluent; French / Arabic would be an advantage
- In-depth commercial understanding of deals structuring to benefit both the prospect and the organization
- Ability to build, maintain and expand personal relations
- Previous experience within the food processing business and similar industries (pharmaceuticals, personal care, beverages, etc.)
- Stakeholder management skills
- Conflict management skills
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategies
- Ability to travel within MEA region
