Head of HR, MENA

The Company

Mackenzie Jones is currently managing the search for a global firm within management consulting, looking for the Head of HR to be based in Dubai, covering MENA region.

As a Head of HR, you will be defining and driving HR strategy for the Middle East and North Africa in line with its business needs and aspirations, with a focus on talent management philosophy of the Firm, leading its implementation through effective systems, policies, and best HR practices.

You will develop, control, and manage all aspects of HR, ensuring top of the line quality of services that meets the expected growth of the Firm in the region.

The Role

Key responsibilities:

• Being able to lead HR function through driving major transformational, strategic initiatives
• Be the Cultural Advocate of the MENA region
• Foster relationships with others as a coach, supporting and driving People and Culture initiatives
• Evaluate the effectiveness of People and Culture programs and initiatives
• Ensure that culture aligns with company’s values and behaviours
• Overlook other functions of HR (employee relations, talent attraction, performance management, talent development, etc.)

The Person

Key requirements:

• Experience in Management Consulting or Real Estate is preferable, with a background in attracting, attaining, and retaining relevant talent
• Experience in regional HR function for minimum of 4 years
• Ability to influence and have led large people initiatives
• A strategic thinker who looks ahead and proactively address issues
• People-oriented individual, yet knows when to be tough and achieve fair results
• Collaborative, down-to-earth person with high energy and a positive attitude
• Needs to be based in the UAE
