An exciting role with a Global FMCG business that\'s growing in double digits

The Role

Reporting to the CMO, this role will guide and support country marketing teams to develop appropriate strategies (Brand Management, Communication and Media, Innovation and Consumer Insights) to delight target consumers. Build strong brands and generate strong results. You will drive markets to deliver aligned objectives/brand plans to achieve regional objectives.

  • Provide strategic direction for brand building and portfolio management, ensuring alignment throughout the organisation
  • Lead and support strategic and operational marketing plans and timelines
  • Develop consumer and category knowledge and share it effectively with relevant cross funtional stakeholders to support the business with relevant data information and insights
  • Prioritize and manage research projects for consumer insights, portfolio development and for brands in collaborqation with marketsand the Global Insights team
  • Collaboration on PR & Communications
  • Accountable for development engagement strategies and creation of attractive and rewarding brand experiences for all brands. Working in partnership with communication agencies and ensure all brand communication contributes to enhancing the organisations image
  • Working closely with the global marketing team to develop innovation strategy, roadmaps and to prioritize projects involving pilot markets in testing and implementation
  • Capability building via inductions and workshops to cascade and share best practices, models, tools and to develop action plans

The Person

  • Masters Degree in Marketing with 15+ years experience with Global FMCG organisations 
  • Emerging Markets experience is a MUST HAVE
  • Brand management, Communications. Marketing Operations, Commercial Plans, Digital, Market research, Innovation/NPD\'s and a solid grounding in P&L management
  • Should be in a Director/Head of Marketing role currently and comfortable working in a Matrix structure
