The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Managerial Role:
Strategic Planning
- Prepare the division’s strategy and objectives in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
- Propose and ensure development and execution of the division’s objectives and goals
- Propose KPI’s for the division and its employees, in alignment to the strategic goals
Budget Management
- Manage the development and utilization of the approved division budget
- Provide guidance to direct line reports on cost optimization opportunities where applicable
Performance Management
- Oversee the performance of the division by providing strategic direction and guidance in achieving objectives
- Proactively communicate the annual divisional objectives and KPIs to division employees
People Management
- Responsible for training and development needs of division’s employees with a special focus on Emiratization
- Maintain constant availability of the required number and competent employees to support the division in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives
- Provide constructive feedback and reward performance of division employees
Knowledge Management and Innovation
- Facilitate and manage the process of knowledge sharing to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, excellence in performance and growth
The Person
Key Requirements:
- University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degre
- Experience of at least 9 years in a relevant field, preferably in the education sector.
